Murcha Pranayama

In Sanskrit Murche means fainting or state of unconciousness. Firmly sit in an Asana. Do deep Puraka from both the nostrils. After Puraka do Kumbhaka with Jalandhara Bandha and Mula Bandha. Kumbhaka should be done until one feels that he is on the verge of fainting. Then do the Rechaka slowly. As the breath is forcefully controlled in Kumbhaka, naturally exhalation happens suddenly. Control the Rechaka and do it slowly. Uddiyana Bandha should be performed at the end of Rechaka.
