Hatha Yoga>Asana>Utthita-Dvipadasana:

Initial position

Lie on your back on the ground.

Procedure

  1. Put both the hands besides thighs. Firmly press the palms to the ground.
  2. After breathing on or two times, lift both the legs with exhalation. Legs should be 45° from the ground. Legs should be lifted slowly. Breath slowly without moving the body.
  3. Bring the legs to the ground slowly while exhaling. this is one round of Utthita Dvipadasana.
  4. Lift the legs again up to 45°. Breathing should be done as in No(2).

Duration

Half minute to two minutes.

Benefits

Muscles of stomach gets good exercise. Constipation, obesity are cured. Thighs becomes strong.
